Erin Royal, M.S. E-RYT-500, Licensed Psychological Practitioner, yoga teacher, studio owner

Erin has been working as a clinician since 2003. She opened her own practice in 2013 and combined the practice with Barefoot Works Yoga, Meditation, & Counseling in 2019. Erin is passionate about utilizing the mind-body connection for recovery and wellness. Individual psychotherapy sessions may incorporate mindfulness, yoga, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Erin accepts most United Healthcare and Anthem Blue Cross healthcare plans and self-pay. Erin also offers private yoga sessions.

Personal Training Sessions

Chris Ruble

Chris is a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor specializing in mindful, functional movement. A typical personal training session with Chris starts with a short, guided meditation followed by a yogic warmup. Exercises that make up the bulk of the session are tailored to the client’s specific needs and goals, and always end with a cooldown and stretching/mobility work. Chris is comfortable working with all fitness levels and welcomes those new to exercise. His focus on form will help minimize potential injury and improve his clients’ quality of life. So whether your goal is building strength, gaining flexibility, or simply maintaining what you already have, you can be sure that Chris’ calm encouragement will help you reach those goals.

Individual personal training session: $75, 10 for 700

Half-hour session: $45, 10 for $400

Therapeutic Yoga Group to Support Trauma Recovery

This is a 6-week series for anyone looking to add trauma-informed yoga to their personal healing journey. Group sessions are both psychoeducational and experiential. Adapted from Therapeutic Yoga for Trauma Recovery by Dr. Arielle Schwartz, group sessions draw upon the ancient wisdom of yoga and the more modern polyvagal theory. You can expect to learn specific techniques for regulating the nervous system and navigating daily stressors. The group is facilitated by qualified mental health practitioners who are also certified yoga teachers.

Erica Adams

Ph.D. ABPP, yoga teacher

After practicing yoga for over 15 years Erica took the leap to become a yoga instructor when she completed 200-hour YTT with Barefoot in 2021. Erica works full-time as a health psychologist, specializing in GI disorders, chronic pain, and other health conditions.

Jill Rogers

Ph.D. RYT-200, Licensed Psychologist, yoga teacher

Jill Rogers is the owner of Root Energy Wellness where she offers individual mindfulness-based psychotherapy, group yoga classes, private yoga sessions, psychological evaluations, and trauma therapy. Jill is a Licensed Psychologist, Certified School Psychologist and a Certified Yoga Instructor.
