Yoga - It's Not What You Think
Yoga is not a religion or any form of worship. Yoga is about tuning into your body, becoming very aware of your body, and working with your body to give it what it needs. You don’t have to be able to twist yourself into pretzel positions to practice yoga (although we can if you'd like). Yoga is for Every Body. It doesn’t matter your gender, age, how fit or unfit you are, or the last time you exercised. You can do this. You can do this and personal yoga sessions can work for you.
What's In It For Me?
First of all, there's a reason that you're inquiring about yoga. Maybe you have a chronic illness that you're dealing with, maybe you're recovering from an injury, and maybe you want to lose weight, or simply want the individualized attention. The reason doesn't matter. The simple fact is that you've either heard or read about the benefits of yoga.
Now we can go on and tell you about the fancy and not so fancy poses, the awesome breathing exercises, or the zen like meditations, but if you're like everybody else, you really want to know how it will make you feel and what it will add to your life, are we right?
It's incredible to see what yoga can help people achieve, not just physically but mentally and emotionally. Your body will become stronger and more flexible, your mood will improve and your overall sense of well being will increase. Your self esteem will rise, you'll feel leaner, more relaxed, less stressed, and your immune system will strengthen.

Maybe you've read about us in publications such as The Hamburg Journal, Business Lexington, The Lane Report, and Jessamine Journal. It's also possible that you saw us on WLEX 18, Live at Sunrise. We love yoga and we are out there doing what we can to get it into peoples' homes and their lives. We completely believe that yoga can change peoples' lives and we are passionate about teaching yoga to people just like you!
We love teaching classes at our studio, but we also love to work with people on a more personal, tailored, and fun level. The simple truth is that every yoga student has his or her own unique needs. No two bodies are the same so why should any two yoga poses look the same for individuals? We will personalize your yoga program, the stretches and exercises to have the maximum effect. We teach you, guide you and inspire you, but we don't do the actual work for you. You'll get the hang of this and when you do, you'll be nothing short of amazed at your transformation.
What Can I Expect?
Don't expect us to show up and push you beyond your abilities. That's not what we do. What we do is schedule a time to meet to do a thorough assessment at our studio or your home or office. We'll have everything you'll need on hand for your yoga session. We'll get to know you and your specific needs and we will enthusiastically develop a plan just for you. Each week we will work with you for an hour to motivate you to do your best and you will feel the benefits of yoga. Prepare to be amazed.

Twice a week **$55
